To forgive is to break a clay pot into a thousand pieces so you can never pick up the pieces. |
The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ took upon himself our personal sins, but he is responsible for the inheritance of sin, which no man has made. God made sin his own Son so that the sinner is made holy. Whole Bible reveals that the Lord has borne the sins of the world by identifying with sinners, not only by sympathy for them. He voluntarily took upon his shoulders and brought in his own person, the immense burden of sin. God has made sin for us who knew no sin and, in doing so, the redemption became the new foundation of all humanity. Jesus Christ has restored the human race. It was restored to its intended first and every human being can find communion with God through the Lord work on the Cross. No man can redeem himself. Redemption, perfect and complete, is a matter of God to each of us it is to be appropriated. It is necessary to distinguish between the revelation of redemption and personal experience of salvation in the life of a man.
