Love to serve

God bless the most important work if love is a stranger, but he takes pleasure in doing things for love. A cup of cold water given to one of his children for his sake, is more valuable to him than the conquest of a kingdom, inspired by ambition and vainglory. When we love someone, we are not constantly draw attention to its shortcomings. It has rightly been said: There is no lack of treatises on eloquence, but, curiously, it is not one that indicates the true secret of true eloquence, this secret is love. Who is to say that if we truly love our Master, we would not succeed to reach the masses, which now seem beyond our reach? There is not a drunkard, there is no creature guilty, there is no atheist that we can do good. Atheists can not resist the power of love. It was he, and not the reasoning, reverse atheism and all other false systems. It is the love of Christ that will break the most hardened heart.
To reach men, we must love them a lot. Whatever their degree of guilt or indifference or ingratitude they fell down some, we must first and foremost love them. Love is the sap of the Gospel is the secret of all preaching strong and vibrant, is the inspiration of the most powerful eloquence. The goal of all preaching is to bring God the hearts of men, and only love knows how to discover the mysterious paths that lead to the heart. So if you do not have a strong love and deep compassion for humanity, be sure that you have not received the gift of Christian eloquence. You will not succeed in winning souls, you will never gain the domination of all excellent, domination is exerted on the heart of man. An Arab proverb says:The sword is bending the neck, but the heart is only bend the heart. "We can not resist love.If we want to learn how to win souls, if we want to be useful in the service of our Master, we must get rid of this cursed spirit of rivalry and self-esteem. This is the essence of the thought of St. Paul in this passage from his Epistle to the Corinthians. They said we have a lot of good faith and zeal, and distribute many alms, if we did not love, it is like sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. If this is not love that inspires and fulfills all our speeches, we would do much good to the souls of the sounding of the trumpet in the pulpit preaching sermons. We can tell the truth and can teach the evangelical doctrine in its purity, if the heart is not filled with love for those to whom it is addressed, if it is preached by profession, says the apostle, it is a tinkling cymbal. What we need is not so much more work than working for a better reason. God recognizes mobile makes us act, rather than our outdoor activity. The only tree on earth that can produce fruit pleasing to God is the tree of love..It can be very good doctor like his patients. It can be very good lawyer without loving customers. A trader can make good business without worrying at all practices. A scientist can explain the wonders of science or theology without feeling the slightest love for us, but without love, it is impossible to work seriously for God and win souls. You can spend the eyes of the world to be a great preacher, you can draw a crowd by brilliant speech, if a sincere love for God and for souls is not the driving force behind all this eloquence, it will vanish like steam and as the morning dew. I am sure if we get to work with a heart full of love for those we want to reach, we will all lower the barriers before us. Love is born of love, even hatred gives birth to hatred. Love is the key to the human heart. Someone said:The light is made for intelligence, and love is for the heart. First win the affection of those you are trying to achieve, then it will be easy to bring them to Christ. Jesus Christ gave his disciples a rallying. Members of the same association are sometimes a blue ribbon, sometimes a red ribbon to recognize each other, the sign that Jesus Christ gave to his disciples, this is love:It is sign that all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.Love, not only for Christians, but for those who have fallen. The Good Samaritan had love for the poor traveler who had fallen into the hands of robbers. If we knew love like him, the world soon discover that we are the disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. This kind of argument would have more power than any other to overcome unbelief and rebellion.
