opposition and criticism

If men do not understand us and criticize our good intentions or if they oppose us and persecute us because of misunderstandings, there is no need to surprise us as something new. There are a multitude of people who do not know why they were put on this earth if they did, they would not waste their time to meddle in the affairs of others. Those who understand God plan in their lives continue to work to accomplish the task that has been proposed. They are indifferent to what people think and say about them, because the God in whom they have to report their intentions known, keeps his love and comfort. Why should we be troubled by the opposition that we encounter when we know that our Creator and Lord knows our thoughts and one day He will reveal.When a man arrives in a foreign country, people look at him with astonishment and dogs bark at him. The true Christian does not belong to this world looks like a pilgrim and a stranger. There is therefore surprising and discouraging if a dog of this world for taking a stranger barks against him and maybe even tears.Ever a task was entrusted to hostile criticism from the truth. Maybe one day these criticisms had been entrusted with a mission, but they were discharged because of their inability to perform. When the work of God was taken, they were without occupation. To provide work for idle hands, perhaps they are fun to throw stones at those who worked in the work of God. But one thing is certain, Satan lying vacant confided their mission.Many never find their own shortcomings and failures, and are always looking for the faults of others. The eye that sees things not seen outside himself and not notice its flaws. And opponents of the truth see everything except their own faults. When we look in a mirror, the eye sees and recognizes his faults and living in communion with the Word made flesh and examining our lives in the light of the written word of God, we can know ourselves perfectly. More than this, Christ will not only show us our sinfulness, but He will yet reveal to us in His healing power and salvation. If we turn to Him, obedient and persevering in prayer, living in His holy communion, He will remove our imperfections and transform us in his image so glorious throughout eternity we share in his glory.
